How are you? And how are you doing with your New Years Resolutions? Do you do any?
Mine are simple this year:
~ be happy
~ make others happy
~ be the change I want to see
One of these changes is to collect plastic and other rubbish on my walks with our rescue greyhound Sherky. Today I have started and am appaled how much of it lies around here. Another change that I didn't really wanted to see is that I have deleted "Bloglovin" on "Bee SelfCaring".
In November I let you know that I have made "Bee SelfCaring" more user-friendly with adding "Bloglovin" as an option to follow my blog. Turned out only people with sex pages liked to follow me on it and I have no inclination to support that sort of stuff. It really annoyed me so Bloglovin' had to go.
In December and January I have added two more posts to "Bee SelfCaring":
"I can't get no sleep! 12 Drinks of Insomnia! Kerblang" &
"This Post is not about New Years Resolutions..."
which are a little different than "Three Habits to Survive the Holidays (and the rest of the year". I am experimenting with my blogposts to find an interesting style and am curious what you think about each oft them. I would also like to know if there is anything you would like to have covered either in the blog or the newsletter? Please let me know here.
This year is the first time I actually did a full year plan of goals for my blogs which are organised down to weekly goals. Wanted to do that for years but never really managed and am so curious to find out if that makes a difference.
I haven't created any new lines on Teespring yet but am pondering a line with some of my poems. They are usually rather short so they should fit nicely on a mug to motivate you in the morning. What do you think?
Oops, Sherky is nudging me :-). It is time for her lunch (we feed her three times a day as it is better for her stomach) so I better leave our laptop and take care of her.
In this sense:
Lovely to have you back at "The Bee Creates"!
How are you? And how is the weather where you live? Here in North-Norfolk late autumn with wind & rain has arrived and while I am happy to do long walks our rescue greyhound Sherky isn't :-) .
So I have used the time to tweak both this page and the Bee SelfCaring Blog to make it more user friendly. You can now comment via Disqus, sign up for the newsletter and receive the "FREE Mini-Guide to Self-Care - THREE Easy Daily Habits for Better Wellbeing" and follow via Bloglovin. Unfortunately, Weebly doesn't have an easy way for following a blog. However, I believe there are enough possilities now with the Newsletter, Bloglovin and the RSS feed.
You will find that the RSS feed doesn't work with all browsers. So far I only know that Firefox works but I will research that further and let you know in an extra page later this year or early next. And I nearly forgot: I have added additional sharing buttons at the right side of every page.
I have also finished the first longer self-care post on "Bee SelfCaring". Please check out " Three Habits to Survive the Holidays (and the rest of the year)". Hopefully, I can give you some easy tips to increase your wellbeing and self-care. Admittedly it is a little long (I might have gone a little overboard there :-) ) but there is no master fallen from heaven as they say in Germany. I will improve over time. And I have created another store with Teespring that brings you different products to improve your self-care. Find out more here.
The next couple of weeks are reserved for developing a social media strathegy, creating the first newsletter and a topic list for it and, of course, another blog post. This one will focus more on physical self-care. Is there anything you would like to have covered either in the blog or the newsletter? Please let me know here.
Busy times ahead not only because of holidays coming up. I wish you islands of time to incorporate your personal self-care and am looking forward to meeting here you on "The Bee Creates".

How are you? Have you survived Halloween? But, oh, I forgot, Christmas and Thanksgiving are approaching fast. So more holidays to survive and that is, even more, a reason to take good care of ourselves even if it is only for five minutes a day.
I am working hard on setting up the newsletter for Bee SelfCaring which includes the download “FREE Mini-Guide to SELF-CARE ~THREE Easy Daily Habits For Better Wellbeing” that can help you to get those five minutes to restore yourself every day. However, as I have no funds available I have to learn how to set up a newsletter and how to add a download and do it myself. It proves a bigger challenge than I expected. But I work on it and we’ll get there soon.
There is good news though. My dear friends Cheryl, Tamara, Lauren and Carol Ann were so kind to beta read the mini-guide and try out this page and the new blog. Feedback is so positive I am rather humbled. One problem that was brought up is the fact that there is no easy follow solution for the blog. That is why it is so crucial for me to get the newsletter set up. Even though I had first planned to offer it on a non-regular basis to not “over-inform” you I will now use it to let you know every time new material is up. That way you stay well connected with Bee SelfCaring and easy and affordable self-care tips.
Please be so kind and pay my mastermind group a visit. They are all brilliant bloggers and authors and you can find them here

Lauren at A Gentlewoman and Scholar
Carol Ann at Therapy Bits
Thank you so much ladies for your support!!!! You rock!!!!
I am working on a line of mugs with the “The Bee Creates” logo. There will be one just with the logo but also several with motivations to value yourself and take that much needed time. One feedback was to maybe add more products than only mugs. What do you think? Please let me know at thebeecreates[at]gmail.com. And I think I need to add a “how to shop at Teespring” too as the site is not as well-known as I thought. What do you think? Find "The Story of Bee's Mugs" here.
Besides that, I got many ideas and topics to write about so creating content is another priority of mine for the next couple of weeks. That’s it for now. I am off to create and explore more self-care. May you have islands of time to spare for yourself in the busy times ahead.

I am excited. "The Bee Creates" develops more and more: Today I have started my "Self-Care Blog" here on Weebly. It is the next step from my blog event "Music Monday Care & Love" on "The Bee Writes..." over at WordPress. Find out more about the new "Self-Care Blog" here.
There are new mugs in the making, and my photo portfolio grows too. A new download for my as yet to establish newsletter is nearly finished, and I have started the process to integrate the newsletter. Once you sign up, you'll get a "FREE Mini-Guide to SELF-CARE ~THREE Easy Daily Habits For Better Wellbeing."
The Newsletter will be about self-care tips, book reviews and recipes but on a non-regular basis. I feel we "pamper" ourselves with enough news daily so a self-care newsletter shouldn't add to the mass. Please stay tuned!
Cooler times are ahead here in North Norfolk in the UK, and we had a couple of evenings when we had the open fire on. There is nothing more relaxing than to sit in front of it, having a cup of tea and snuggle up either to the hubby or the dog. Halloween is approaching, and while I had planned to do a mug line for the "creepy" holiday all the other projects took my time up, so I have to wait for it until next year.
Slowly I get more into the swing of being self-employed and starting my own business. It is so much more satisfying to be able to create on a daily basis than working in a soul-destroying job. Even though financially tough and mental-health-wise still struggling I believe this is the way to go.
I hope you have the chance to enjoy the autumn colours and leaves and have a mug or two of your favourite beverage to warm up! In this sense
